ATTENDANCE OF IDPA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS ALLENTOWN PENNSYLVANIA 2007, SEP 24TH -01ST OCT 2007.

IDPA Team at the Nationals

For this project a 13 person contingent qualifying from the local IDPA Nationals held on November 12th 2006 embarked on a stringent training programme under the guidance of IDPA and team captain Nigel Prudent. Same was geared towards the breakdown of identifying techniques that makes up practical shooting and the many ways of improving ones personal skills to international standards. Training consisted of the many hours invested at the range and the sacrifices to be present at all weekend activities. Selected persons were also encouraged to invest in ones personal development through whatever media and educational material that may be available to them.

On September 24th 2007, sixteen persons departed for Allentown Pennsylvania, 13 competitors and three IDPA officials.

From a total number of 358 competitors with all persons in their respective divisions and classes, Trinidad & Tobago took the highlight of the competition with having the Top International shooter amongst countries such as Canada, Venezuela, Italy, Slovenia, Europe and competitors throughout the United States. Additionally, from a 13person contingent amongst 25 International shooters, Trinidad & Tobago had six persons placing in the Top Ten together with seven persons placing in their respective divisions and classification totaling eight awards for Trinidad & Tobago. The team returned on October 01st 2007.
